End or Beginning?

"Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end" - Seneca the Younger, Roman philosopher
Where did you come from? Where are you going? Can you see the way forward? Will you find a safe place to land?
Was it hard to leave? Did you jump or were you pushed? How long will you wander?
Will you know when you’ve found home? What will you become once you get there?
Is this despair or hope? End or beginning? Or, like our grand universe, is it the perfect circle where all ends are beginnings?

Oh. This took my breath away. When pain is fresh and new, it’s so so difficult to see how the great circle could possibly resolve back into calm. Or happiness. Like the reading Sunday when the mood changing king receives a ring to remind him that grief will become joy and joy will again be challenged by grief. But here’s the thing. I don’t think we’re supposed to just shake off the pain or the grief and just get on with our lives. I think we’re supposed to allow it to be, allow it to walk with us for a while on our journey. Learn what it has to teach us. Maybe become a more enlightened person for having experienced it. Thank you, dear Denise.
Beautiful!
